Many readers have suggested I publish my award-winning books as audiobooks. Then, when a NY Times Award-winning author said, “Peter, do it!”  I decided to get the project rolling. Audiobooks are necessary in today’s growing book publishing market, with people listening in their cars and at home. Stay tuned for their release later this year.  - Peter J Marzano

Litany Of Sorrows

Karl von Richter, a handsome young man working in a German foundry, is injured while skiing in the Italian Alps and then nursed to health by attractive Katrina Amorino. They fall in love, and she moves to his home on Lake Constance, unaware Germany is preparing for war. As she arrives, Karl enters SS Officer Training School, where he is radicalized by Nazi propaganda, leads a group of young Nazi officers in Kristallnacht, and begins implementing Hitler's Final Solution to eliminate Jews and other deplorables.

As WWII ends, Karl’s last Nazi task in Berlin fails. He heads home but finds his parents dead and Katrina and their child missing. His conscience reawakens as he begins his search for Katrina, who is hiding and agonizing over her impetuous decisions - her litany of sorrows for decades to come.

Will Katrina’s and Karl’s conflict be resolved? What becomes of Katrina’s relationship with Luca? Will Katrina ever find her son?

Search and Deception

Brian O’Sullivan, an art history professor, learns he was adopted after finding letters sent by his birth mother, Katrina, 60 years earlier. Filled with emotion, he searches for her, hoping she is still alive. But before he begins, he’s called to Amsterdam by his Interpol team to help solve a WWII art theft mystery when a Nazi officer’s diary is discovered. The team carefully analyzes the pages for clues, hoping to determine where the art may be hidden, and departs for Andalusia, Spain. Through a twist of fate, Brian is thrust into a maze of lies, deception, and corruption in his search for his mother. He must follow a path through anguish, intrigue, and danger threatening his life.

Will the Interpol team find the stolen art? Will Brian find his birth mother, Katrina? What becomes of Brian when his past and present collide in a conflict with a previously unknown stepbrother who wants to kill him? How does Grace handle her past? What becomes of Nina?

Taken from Carinhall

Taken from Carinhall is a tale of intrigue, passion, betrayal, and shocking revelations as Brian O'Sullivan and his Interpol team search to solve a lingering WWII mystery. Recent satellite images collected by the CIA suggest gold and art plundered by the Nazis are hidden in Grand Canary Island. But when an unexpected clue reveals the stolen bounty may be in Morocco, Brian and his team suddenly find themselves racing against the Russians to find the missing treasures. Complicating matters are Brian’s feelings about his wife’s sudden death, another theft, and the recent discovery of the DiBotticino family legend. Can Nina solve the mystery? Do the sinister Russians win the race? Can Brian resolve his swirling emotions? Will Brian and Nina’s relationship be strengthened after startling revelations? Does stress bring it to a crashing end?
